RIO RANCHO — A tense neighborhood dispute over a new development has sparked an apology from a member of the city council.
At Thursday’s Rio Rancho Governing Body meeting, District 3 Councilor Bob Tyler publicly apologized for comments Planning and Zoning Chairman R. Wayne Lampson made to frustrated residents earlier this week.
“This past week, I watched the P&Z meeting that was held here in the chambers, and I had some concerns with our board member, (and) the way that some of the citizens were treated,” Tyler said.
