AKRON, Ohio (WJW) — One person is dead after being hit by a vehicle early Saturday morning.
According to a press release sent to Fox 8 News from the Akron Police Department, the fatal crash happened just after 2 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26.

Police responded to a crash involving a pedestrian and several vehicles in the area of West Market Street and South Highland Avenue.
So far, the police investigation indicates that a red Chrysler 300, driven by a 45-year-old woman, was traveling west on West Market Street when the vehicle hit a 35-year-old man crossing the street. The man was pronounced dead at the scene…
