A 47-year-old plastic surgeon has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of a Florida attorney whose body was never recovered, following a high-profile trial that ended on Sept. 23.
Dr. Tomasz Kosowski was convicted in connection with the disappearance and death of 41-year-old Steven Cozzi, who vanished on March 21, 2023. Cozzi was last seen at his law office, leaving behind his car keys and wallet. While nobody witnessed him leave the building, investigators discovered a strong smell of chemicals and a large quantity of blood inside the office’s public men’s restroom.
