NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WJAR) — Strong winds and high waves built along the Rhode Island coast Friday, drawing spectators to Narragansett Town Beach as conditions worsened.
A high wind warning is in effect, with coastal gusts of 45 to 60 mph possible.
