Irving Subs is preparing to open a second San Francisco location at 1355 Market St., San Francisco, CA 94103, inside The Market food hall. Owner Crystina Lee signed a lease for the space and plans to open the new shop by the end of 2026, according to the San Francisco Standard.
Founded in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset, Irving Subs is known for customizable sandwiches served on bread from Alameda-based bakery Semifreddi’s. The new location will occupy approximately 400 square feet and will take over the former supermarket deli counter at The Market.
According to the San Francisco Standard, the menu at the Mid-Market location will generally match the original shop, with occasional specials. Popular sandwiches include The Giants, made with turkey, bacon, cheddar and avocado; The Warriors, with salami, coppa, mortadella, provolone and roasted red peppers; and The Masonic, with grilled chicken, Swiss and spicy Cajun mayo.…
