AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Pantexpalooza returns Saturday, Sept. 26, offering an afternoon of family-friendly activities, live music and community entertainment.
The annual event begins at 1 p.m. with welcome remarks from Kelly Beierschmitt. Activities will begin at 1:15 p.m. and include cornhole, silent auction bidding and merchandise sales. Live music will take place throughout the afternoon on the outdoor patio stage.
Yellow City Rundown Sept. 21-25: Amarillo City Manager, local taxes
The scheduled performances include:
- Stealing Handshakes at 2 p.m.
- The Band Chandler at 3:10 p.m.
- Texas Transplants at 5 p.m.
The live auction is scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m., while the silent auction will close at 5 p.m. The event is open to the public, and media members are encouraged to attend and capture the annual community celebration. According to United Way of Amarillo & Canyon, Andrea’s Project and DeBault Title will offer free rides to and from Pantexpalooza.
