A Kansas City man accused of participating in an online group chat in which he spoke of planning violence toward federal immigration officials has pleaded guilty to a charge for the possession of an explosive device.
Lake Roberts, 26, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of an unregistered destructive device on Thursday in U.S. District Court in Kansas City. A sentencing date has not yet been scheduled.
