MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Debbi Edwards signed copies of a book she co-wrote with Shannon Musa at a book fair in Mesa last month. The book is based on the 1991 murder of Edwards’ 18-year-old son, Eric.
“The best way I can tell you is when the forgiveness happened. It lifted off me like a heavy, dark blanket,” Edwards said.
The murder
In December 1991, Eric Edwards’ remains were found in a ravine off a dirt road in Mesa.
