EASTON, Pa. – A chic event space coming soon to Northampton County is harkening back 100 years to an intoxicating chapter of the property’s past life, when it was a hot spot for sipping drinks and socializing with friends during the Prohibition Era.
Easton Speakeasy & Dining Room, a multi-level event venue featuring a refurbished, original speakeasy, will begin hosting ticketed events on its main floor in October at 431 Northampton St. in downtown Easton, co-owner Aaron Coleman told 69 News.
The first ticketed event, Mimi’s Drag Brunch Melodies, will be a three-part series kicking off at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 18.
Other scheduled events in the series, hosted by Mimi Sashimi, will be held on Nov. 15 and Dec. 20. The drag brunch series will feature live singing, a brunch buffet and a cash bar with bottomless mimosas and specialty bloody mary drinks…
