NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A new building permit application has been filed to replace an apartment complex destroyed by fire more than a year ago.
Renu Property Management filed the permit application with Metro Nashville Monday for an address in the Slate Apartment Homes community, which is owned by CR Nashville Partners, LLC.

According to city records, the original structure was demolished a few months after the fire.
The initial blaze was reported shortly before 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, in the 7400 block of Highway 70 South.
