EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Dona Ana County officials provided an update on efforts their crews made to protect nearby homes and infrastructure in the Goat Hill area.
About 804,000 gallons of floodwater were pumped by crews in a span of about 7 hours from a pond near Goat Hill Road Friday, according to a social media update posted by county officials Saturday, Sept. 26.
The pumping operation followed flooding in the Goat Hill Road and Doña Ana Road areas, where the county’s Public Works team responded Friday.
