Saracen Casino Resort is set to fire General Manager Matt Harkness and Chief Market Officer Carton Saffa following a resolution by the Quapaw Nation, according to multiple reports.
A resolution on Saracen letterhead posted by the Arkansas Times alleges Harkness and Saffa “created, and subsequently marketed to third parties within the Arkansas gaming industry, a gaming company known as ‘GamePhysics,’” the nature of which was not explained. Attempts to reach a Saracen spokesperson to confirm the authenticity of the resolution have been unsuccessful.
Saffa confirmed via text Saturday (Sept. 26) that he was informed two days earlier at the casino of Saracen’s intent to fire him. Contact information was not available for Harkness…
