Investigators may have discovered a possible link to a suspect from Idaho in a string of homicides that took place in Chicago over four decades ago and became one of the most infamous unsolved cold cases in American history.
In 1982, seven people died throughout the Chicago area after becoming sick from taking Tylenol purchased at multiple locations. Testing determined that someone had tampered with the bottles and put them back on store shelves. The substance that was found in the bottles that resulted in the deaths was found to be cyanide.
Although there were reports of possible sightings of a potential suspect–he was given the nickname the ‘Unknown Wanderer‘ after being seen at store locations where the fatal tampering occurred–no one was ever arrested and tried for the mass murders, which became known to the public as the ‘Tylenol Murders.’…
