EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville woman is facing multiple charges after police say she nearly caused a crash and tried to hide meth in her pants.
Officers were patrolling on Saturday evening when a detective called for a stop on a reckless driver who nearly hit him, then sped down Franklin Street.
Police say they were able to stop the driver, 39-year-old Heather Mayes, nearby.
EPD says Mayes told officers she had no insurance. When she stepped out of the vehicle, officers say they noticed her pants had been pulled down as though she had shoved something inside them…
