BloodHound PoohMan, a Chicago drill figure tied to the BloodHound and DrillCity circle, was shot and killed Friday night, just hours after mourners laid his associate Q50 to rest. Chicago drill news outlet SquiidApe TV identified him as Naseem Thomas, 26. Chicago police have not publicly released the victim’s name.
Police say the shooting happened around 7 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue in Greater Grand Crossing. The 26 year old was standing near his car outside a business when a black sedan carrying two men pulled up. Someone inside pulled a gun and opened fire.
He jumped into his car and drove off, but the gunmen followed. Police say they kept shooting at him through traffic. He was hit in the back and the knee, and his car crashed into a pole in the 7400 block of South Cottage Grove, about a block from where the attack started.
