TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Expect partly cloudy skies and mild to warm conditions this afternoon. Low rain chances linger tonight for metro Tucson and areas to the west as moisture begins building across the region.
Monday marks the start of an active stretch of weather. A Flood Watch has been issued from 11 a.m. Monday through 11 p.m. Tuesday for all of Southeast Arizona. An incoming low-pressure system from the west, paired with surging tropical moisture from Hurricane Polo to our south, will drive these unsettled conditions.
Rain chances ramp up Monday night, setting up an even more active Tuesday when rain chances reach 80% for metro Tucson. The primary threats will be heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding.
