MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — The third annual Men & Male Youth Empowerment Conference, an event focused on mentorship, leadership, and preparing attendees for future careers, gathered in Myrtle Beach on Saturday.
The conference, held at the General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center, was organized by Diamond Dynasty Productions and People Over Profit Lloyd Foundation. This year’s event focused heavily on workforce development, with career preparation, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship among the topics offered to attendees.
Local businesses and organizations were on hand to encourage attendees and help young men develop practical skills, including tying a tie, filling out job applications, and preparing for job interviews.
