If you have been meaning to try a restaurant on Milwaukee’s South Side but keep ordering from the same few places, this week offers a tasty excuse to change your routine.
North Shore Bank Southside Dining Week begins Sunday, Sept. 27, and runs through Oct. 3, bringing limited-time dishes, discounts, and specials to neighborhoods across the South Side. Now in its sixth year, the event gives diners a reason to explore food they may not normally order.
A Week Built for Eating Around the Neighborhood
This is less a single restaurant week than a citywide food crawl.
Participating areas include Walker’s Point, Historic Mitchell Street, Bay View, Silver City, Lincoln Village, Jackson Park, Fernwood, and several other South Side neighborhoods. Participating businesses stretch south of the Menomonee River, east of S. 43rd Street and north of E. Howard Avenue…
