Texas Tech hasn’t looked infallible, but they have done enough to beat the teams on their schedule. In the second half of the latest game against Sam Houston, the Red Raiders finally looked dominant for a full half, winning 28-0. What was much more worrisome was the 21-14 first half that featured only one offensive touchdown and three Will Hammond interceptions.
Still, undefeated is undefeated and most of the AP voters probably just saw the final score anyways. The Red Raiders do move back one spot, making room for Florida to move up 13 spots from 21 to 8 after beating top five Ole Miss.
The BYU Cougars were off last week and also dropped a spot to 10th. Utah moved up two spots from 15 to 13. Oklahoma State surged into the top 25 with a big win over West Virginia jumping all the way to 19th. They were receiving votes and basically 28th last week. Houston is the final Big 12 team in the top 25 ranked 20th, up from 25th last week…
