On the postgame show, we took some calls and discussed the game. Here are a few of my thoughts from Texas Tech’s 49-14 win.
Texas Tech is playing with fire
The issues on punt return, the turnovers, the unwillingness to give J’Koby Williams more than ten touches, and more self-inflicted issues are holding this team back. We saw all of those in the first half against Sam Houston as Texas Tech could barely field a punt and Will Hammond threw interceptions on three straight pass attempts. The Red Raiders have other issues and shortcomings, but these are all fixable. Especially getting Williams involved in the offense, that is the one that really has me frustrated over the last two weeks…
