A historic building in New Orleans’ Central Business District is being repurposed to house private safety-deposit boxes and precious-metals services.
The building, which previously served as the New Orleans branch of the Federal Reserve and later operated as the Security Center for more than 55 years, is being reintroduced by New Orleans Silver and Gold.
“The facility speaks for itself. I mean, this facility was going to be converted into a hotel, which to me would have been an absolute tragedy. There are really not many facilities like this in the country.
