San Antonio Drive-By Shooting Leaves 21-Year-Old Wounded, Gunman Still Loose

A 21-year-old man was shot just north of downtown San Antonio in the early morning hours, left with a stinging sensation in his lower extremities before he realized he’d actually been struck by gunfire. The suspect remains at large, and investigators say they still don’t know what triggered the shooting.

Officers were called to the 1300 block of McCullough Avenue just before 2 a.m., according to WOAI. That address is Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. He was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, the outlet’s report notes. Police have made no arrests, and the investigation into what led up to the shooting remains ongoing, per the same account.
