A Capital Region man was recently arrested in Saratoga County for Grand Larceny and a litany of other charges after a conspiracy to steal thousands of dollars with of property.

On Monday, September 27th, the Saratoga county Sheriff’s Office arrested Donald J. Gendron III, a 40 year old from Troy, New York. He was picked up in Saratoga County as the second arrest in an inactive larceny call in Halfmoon, New York.
Gendron is accused of conspiring with two others to steal Air Conditioning units off of the back of a building, while also intentionally damaging property. What the thieves wanted to do with the Air Conditioning Units, we’re not quite sure of, but the damage was sizeable.

As a part of this operation, Gendron is accused of stealing property which had a value that exceeded $3,000, as well as intentionally damaging property of another person in an amount that exceeded $1,500 according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
All in all, he’s been charged with grand larceny in the 3rd degree, criminal mischief in the 2nd degree and conspiracy in the 5th degree.
Upon his arrest, he was arraigned at the Halfmoon Town Court and released under recognizance, pending any further updates in the case. The offenses committed do not qualify for setting bail…
