New magistrate court planned for West Ashley as county builds larger services hub

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — A vacant piece of property in West Ashley could soon become a one-stop location for several Charleston County services.

Charleston County has purchased about 1.5 acres at the corner of Old Parsonage Road and Highway 61, where it plans to build a new magistrate court.
