EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – At least one person was taken into custody following a chase and crash in Evansville.
According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, deputies tried to stop a red Jeep at U.S. 41 and Waterworks Road, but the driver allegedly took off.
Officials say something was tossed out the window during the pursuit. The suspect tried to turn right onto Covert Avenue when they crashed with another vehicle, causing a chain-reaction crash with more vehicles…
