Horry County law enforcement to conduct traffic checkpoint. Here’s when and where

North Myrtle Beach drivers could see an increased law enforcement presence Tuesday as police prepare for a traffic safety checkpoint.

Planned for Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 1 to 5 p.m. on Water Tower Road, the North Myrtle Beach Police Department will be conducting a multi-jurisdictional checkpoint with other law enforcement agencies in the 15th Circuit Law Enforcement Network.

“It’s pretty routine. We do this fairly regularly,” said police spokesperson Desirae Gostlin. “And it’s just driver’s license violations, DUIs – it’s just a checkpoint.”…
