Suspect charged with UMass Dartmouth student’s murder appears in RI court

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A UMass Dartmouth student accused in the deadly stabbing of a student-athlete outside a Providence club has been ordered held without bail.

Chukwunonso David Uzoma-Eze, 19, allegedly stabbed two players on the UMass Dartmouth football team outside Mezzo Lounge off Charles Street early on Sept. 19.

As a result, 18-year-old freshman Marvins Antoine, of Fall River, died at the hospital.
