There are several restaurants that are institutions in Amarillo. Some of them are sit-down restaurants; some are those where you grab a quick bite to eat when you’re on the run or in a hurry. I’ve been to many of them, but not all of them.
I tend to stick to those faster, on-the-run types of restaurants because we’re usually coming or going from some sporting event or practice. Sometimes we just don’t have time to cook, and we don’t feel like spending another hour in a restaurant later in the evening.

Let’s take a look at some of those local spots in Amarillo that we all seem to love. On the faster end of things, Hud’s comes to mind for sure. Long John Silver’s, at least for now, and Taco Villa. Those are grab-and-go options for sure…
