Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has named Cabot as Arkansas’ Capital for a Day for Wednesday, September 30th, bringing senior state government officials to the Lonoke County city for meetings with local leaders.
Cabot will become the 24th Arkansas community selected for the Capital for a Day program under Sanders. The initiative temporarily moves the focus of state government outside Little Rock, with the Governor and senior state officials visiting selected communities and meeting with their local counterparts.
