SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced new milestones for several temples, including a groundbreaking date for a temple in Mexico and the location of a temple in Ecuador.
The Church says they will be holding a groundbreaking ceremony for the Cuernavaca Mexico Temple on November 14, 2026.
This temple was initially announced in 2022 and will be one of 27 temples in the country currently operating, under construction, or announced.
Other temples announced or under construction in the country are the Cancún, Chihuahua, Culiacán, Juchitán de Zaragoza, Mexico City Benemérito, Pachuca, Querétaro, Reynosa, Toluca, Torreón and Tula Temples…
