Eugene Parking Services has passed new parking rate changes throughout the city in order to keep up with maintaining quality parking options.
These changes, effective Sept. 18, are part of the city’s “long-range financial planning,” and are the first to come across the board since 2019, according to the City of Eugene’s website. The changes are meant to support both local businesses and the broader community.
Eugene residents with downtown parking permits can expect at least a $5 increase in their monthly fees. Residents with quarterly and yearly permits for on-street parking will see more than a $10 increase in their fees. Additional changes will come with regard to parking validations and bulk permits…
