EUGENE, Ore. — Lane County’s Search and Rescue team is looking for new adult volunteers, and the Lane County Sheriff’s Office says anyone interested must start by attending an upcoming information session in Eugene.
The Sheriff’s Office is recruiting adults with “positive attitudes” who want to serve their community. Volunteers must be willing to respond at any time, day or night, often in inclement weather and extreme conditions.
