BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — As thousands of visitors make their way through the Kern County Fair, safety checks are happening behind the scenes before carnival rides open each day.
Butler Amusements, the fair’s carnival provider, begins by mapping where rides and attractions will be placed before setup begins, according to Kern County Fair Marketing Director Chelsey Roberts.
“They clean, they set up, they inspect, and we get ready for the fair,” Roberts said.
