BAKERFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — CSU Bakersfield’s Athletic Program — which has been at the center of numerous lawsuits, departures and allegations that drew national attention in recent years — is getting a full-time director after a vacancy that lasted for over a year.
On Monday, the school announced in a press release that Andy Fiske was appointed as the new director of athletics at CSUB.
Fiske will become the fifth permanent athletics director in CSUB history, according to school officials.
He is expected on campus in mid-October to begin the leadership transition in Athletics, taking over the position from Acting Director of Athletics Sarah Tuohy, officials said…
