CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Charleston District and the City of Charleston plan to host two in-person public scoping meetings to get community input on the Charleston Tidal and Inland Flood Risk Management Study on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8.
The meeting includes discussion on identifying solutions to reduce flood risks from rainfall, high tides and sea level change across the community in West Ashley, James Island and the Charleston Peninsula.
