Audiences may recognize London Brown as the hotheaded, but surprisingly tender, Marvin Thomas on STARZ’s “Power Book III: Raising Kanan.” Others remember him as Reggie, the trash-talking antagonist who went toe-to-toe with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on HBO’s “Ballers.”
But when Brown steps onto the stage at Atlanta Comedy Theater in Norcross on Thursday, Oct. 8, he will not be Marvin or Reggie. He will be the version of himself that existed before either character made him a familiar face on television: a stand-up comedian who knows how to command a room.
