PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth Police have arrested a man in connection with a Sept. 3 shooting inside an Elliott Avenue residence that left another man injured inside his home.
Police said Raymond Poole Tillman has been charged in connection with the shooting that left Greg Coffee injured inside his home. Coffee was treated and later released from the hospital.
While Portsmouth Police Chief Stephen Jenkins confirmed that Tillman was taken into custody following the investigation into the shooting, describing the charge as a serious one, he did not immediately confirm the charge, and Tillman did not immediately appear in the public court system…
