ELB Broadcasting has filed a $1,000 deal to acquire silent KPUR-AM (1440) Amarillo, TX, from Cumulus Media.
The transaction would expand ELB’s Amarillo holdings to two stations. The company currently owns country “The Twister 1470” KDHN. Cumulus would retain four FM stations in the market: country “Nash Icon 107.1” KARX, country KPUR-FM (95.7), “Rock 108” KZRK and rhythmic CHR “93.1 The Beat” KQIZ.
