ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Prosecutors have dropped all charges against Lori Rice, the former bookkeeper for the Stone Eagle Tavern restaurant, ending her role in a tax evasion case that also involved former owner Jimmy Vitale.
According to court records, Rice appeared in Winnebago County court on Sept. 28, where she entered no plea. Prosecutors then filed a motion of nolle prosequi, formally dismissing all remaining charges against her.
