Park North Shopping Center is one of San Antonio’s many hubs for dining and entertainment, but after a few shake-ups, the retail site’s restaurant scene looks a little different. A handful of closures have created vacancies, some of which have already been filled, and more new eateries are on the way.
In January 2026, Miguelito’s Mexican Grill & Cantina was locked out of its home at Park North, which inevitably led to the restaurant’s permanent closure. By July, Panfila Cocina Mexicana was ready to open its second location in that same space, bringing its own take on Mexican fare to the shopping center. To date, Panfila still occupies that suite, and a lot more eateries are moving in nearby.
Ooh La La Korean BBQ was the next restaurant (that we know of) to be locked out at Park North in 2026. Though the suite has been out of commission for months, Surfing Crab is making moves to expand with a new location in place of the defunct Korean barbecue spot. No official opening date is out about that new addition, but we’re keeping a close eye on when it’ll launch.
Once upon a time, Park North was home to a Round Table Pizza, but the chain has seemingly disappeared from San Antonio entirely, leaving behind an empty spot that will soon be replaced. Levant Pizzeria is the new concept moving into the suite, and it looks like it will serve more than just pizza. Images of gyros and baklava decorate some of the restaurant’s windows, suggesting it’ll serve a broader range of Mediterranean cuisine. The business doesn’t yet have an online presence, but its appearance suggests it’s inching closer to opening.
Gold Feather is one eatery that left Park North earlier this year (again, due to a lockout) and has yet to be replaced at the shopping center. The fried chicken concept lives on in some form, as it was absorbed into LadyBird Beer Gardenafter it closed. An empty suite where Tipsy Cowgirl once operated sits just across the parking lot from Alamo Drafthouse, but that spot has been without a long-term tenant for some time…
