SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A new Mexican spot will soon open its doors in Schenectady. Los Amigos Mexican Kitchen, located at 515-517 Union Street, will host a grand opening on Friday.

The eatery is owned by Josue Recinos, who also operates Los Chamos on State Street. The eatery takes over the former Union Inn space.
“I was inspired by my desire to share authentic, Mexican flavors and culture with my community,” Recinos told NEWS10.
The owner said Los Amigos has been in the works for about five months. The restaurant will offer a wide variety of Mexican food options, such as enchiladas, tamales, nachos and fajitas, as well as other dishes inspired by other Latin American cuisines.
