ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Drivers on Interstate 26 near Asheville could run into delays late Thursday morning as crews temporarily slow traffic for blasting and rock removal.
A traffic slow roll is scheduled to begin about 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, in both directions near the Broadway interchange at Exit 25, according to NCDOT.
The rolling slowdown will give crews time to safely complete rock removal work along the interstate. Drivers traveling through the area in either direction should be prepared for brief delays and possible backups…
