VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) — Vanderburgh County Commissioners approve moving forward with the Elliott Battery Storage Facility.
The 200 mega-watt facility will be located in Scott Township near Centerpoint’s sub-station. Representatives say the facility is designed to store excess wind and solar energy balance power supply and demand and could help lower utility rates.
