LAKELAND, Fla. — The Lakeland Police Department is teaming up with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and local partners to host a National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day event on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026.
The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at police headquarters, located at 219 N. Massachusetts Ave. in Lakeland. Officers will run a drive-through drop-off site directly in the parking lot to keep the process moving quickly for drivers.
