FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — A man whose dogs attacked a woman at a home in Foley has been arrested.

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 33-year-old Nikeyl Jones without incident Sunday at a home off County Road 65 in Foley.

Jones is charged with dangerous dog and reckless endangerment after his roommate was attacked by four pit bulls, all owned by Jones. He is being charged under Emily’s Law, which is a state law that “sets a formal legal process” to investigate unprovoked dog attacks and hold their owner criminally responsible.

The incident happened Sept. 20 at a home in the 13000 block of McGaster Trail. Officers found five pit bulls at the home and said they had received multiple prior animal-related complaints involving that address. Jones had recently been in court for issues regarding these same dogs…
