Chick-fil-A will open its first Newark location at 2 Clay St. this fall. The chicken chain plans to bring in 60 to 80 workers.
The restaurant will replace a shuttered Burger King at the corner of Broadway and Clay Street, right next to Newark ArtSpace and close to Newark Broad Street station. The 2,936-square-foot building will feature two drive-thru lanes.
