WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a teenage aspiring barber at Okeeheelee Park, bringing the total number of arrests in the case to six.
Edwin Funes Cartagena, 18, was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm. Jan Marcos Diaz Cruz, 18, was also arrested Tuesday and faces the same charges, according to arrest records.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office’s probable cause affidavit, investigators learned the group had been planning the robbery for several days. Diaz had allegedly been robbed about two weeks earlier while trying to sell a firearm and wanted revenge, according to investigators…
