Searcy is receiving national recognition after being ranked 1st on WorldAtlas’ recently published list of the “9 Best Places to Call Home in Arkansas in 2026.”
The publication highlighted Arkansas communities offering a strong combination of affordability, recreation, community involvement and overall quality of life.
WorldAtlas pointed to Searcy’s relatively affordable housing market, outdoor recreation opportunities, active downtown and year-round schedule of community events as reasons the White County city stood out.

From our parks and trails to our events and local businesses, there are more reasons than ever to be excited about living in Searcy.”
WorldAtlas reported Searcy’s median home sale price was approximately $228,000 during the 3 months ending in August 2026. That was approximately $48,000 below the Arkansas median cited by the publication.
