CU Hawaiʻi opens new Korean store near UH Mānoa: Free food, goodies for students

HONOLULU (KHON2) — A new spot for Korean snacks, quick meals and late night cravings is opening near the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa campus.

CU Hawaiʻi will open its fifth Hawaiʻi location Thursday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m. at the corner of University Avenue and Dole Street with a traditional Hawaiian blessing that’s scheduled for 9:15 a.m.

“The University store is an ideal location for CU Hawai‘i, especially with the University of Hawai‘i Mānoa community and many of Hawai‘i’s largest schools nearby,” said Gina Haverly, president of CU Hawai‘i.

The store will celebrate its opening with promotions and giveaways from Oct. 1 through Oct. 7 when students from any Hawaiʻi school will receive free food by showing a student ID…
