BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The rides, games and food stands that fill the Kern County Fair each year may look like permanent fixtures, but many of them are part of a traveling circuit that moves from fair to fair — and a scheduling change at the California State Fair could affect which vendors and attractions come to Kern County in 2027.
Chelsey Roberts with the Kern County Fair said the fair runs for 12 days and traditionally begins “the second to last Wednesday of September every year.”
